Landon is 4 months

Our little man is 4 months old and has had a lot of "firsts" that I wanted to share.

In no particular order:

1.He know sleeps in his room (past month) and through the night (till 5 or 6). This makes his Mommy so happy! :)

2. He started on solids! Yay...maybe now he won't need so much formula. :)

3. He loves to smile, chat, laugh, and loves his big sister and dogs!

4. He loves the exersaucer and jumper!

5. He gets bathed in the big tub.

All these things make me happy but also sad...he is growing so fast! He is so much fun, adorable, and we love him so much!

Kaedance 2008 Ballet Recital

Posted by Picasa
This weekend, Kaedance had her second ballet recital. The theme this year was Thumblina and Magical Mystery Tour. It was an awesome show and she was amazing! Troy and I can't believe the talent that she has and the passion she has for dance. It makes us so happy to see her perform...she loves it. Her Instructors really think that she could go far in it and of course, as long as she loves it, we'll keep her in it. It can be costly for us, but it's worth every penny when we see how much she loves it. We are so proud of you Bug! Great job!
My parents made the trip to see her and they too, are so proud of their "little ballerina". Thank you for coming Mom & Dad! I also want to thank Kaedie's Grandparents Mama and Papa Garber for their support and the cute picture frame. She loves it! It meant a lot for you to be there! Thank you Seana, Eliza, Shannon, Nana, and Kindle for making it out to see her dance. Erin and Cora were also amazing! I'm so proud of the three of you! We look forward to another year!
My Dad decided to stay the next couple of weeks to celebrate Kaedie's 4th Bday next Sunday and spend time with her and Landon. I will be posting on his stay and her Princess Party next week!
P.S. Here is a short clip of her "Cuddle Ducks" Dance. This is with my camera so not the best quality. She is the second one from the left. I will have a better DVD provided by the amazing Kindle soon fo rthose who want to see all her dances!

Gone are the days of pregnancy hair

In the last couple of days, my hair has been falling out like crazy! I think this happened around the same time after I had Kaedance. I guess my body has decided it's no longer "with child" and why let my hair be full, shiny, and for once, likable? I hate that!
Have any of you other mommies experienced this after having babies or is it just me? I hope it's not just me...I will cry!
Any suggestions on the falling out part would be greatly appreciated!
Wink wink Eliza and Chante! ;)

Troy and I

I came across this picture of the two of us just after we moved to Vegas...It made me remember all the good times we had, when it was just us two, all on our own, depending on one another. It was great to remember why we choose to marry each other and throughout the years and all the struggles, we still love each other(most of the time :) ) .

P.S. My cute daddy in the background!

4th of July Celebrations

We had an awesome fourth this year. Our great friends throw an amazing party with tons of food, swimming, and the best fire work display. It was great! Kaedance had a great time with all her friends and is finally warming up to people and interacting with kids her age! If you know my daughter...you know how excited I am about this!! Landon loved to watch the fireworks and even fell asleep through them. It was a great night full of great friends and lots of fun! Happy Birthday America!!

Landon's Blessing

So it's a week and half past, but I wanted to post a little blog about Landon's blessing.

It was great to have our loved ones in town to help us celebrate this awesome day with us. It really meant alot to us for all of those that made it. Thanks again!

Troy did an amazing job on his blessing! I was so proud of him. He is such a great Dad that really wants the best for his children. Landon looked so cute in his outfit! I loved it!

We had a great time visiting with our families and friends and we are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and our children's lives.

P.S. Sorry for the red eye shot...still learning the new camera. I will try to post one of just him in his cute outfit soon!
