Picnic with Kaedie

Kaedance's school hosted a family picnic on the school grounds today! Kaedance insisted on a Happy Meal for lunch. :) It was fun to have lunch with her even though the time went so quick and I was only able to snap one picture. (Of course she blinked). I'm so proud of her and love to watch her grow and do things out of her comfort zone. She's making great friends and learning a lot at school.

P.S. When I got to her school, I asked her what happened to her hair not being in a pony tail, she said her friend want to play with her hair :) Of course she's to sweet to say no.

Playgroup Fun

The week before school started, our ward had a playgroup at an exhibit that featured Penguins, Polar Bears, and Antarctica. It was fun and educational. It was great to have my BFF, Meagan, and her girls come too! The kids loved it. I think the best part was the penguin slide :) We love that our girls, Kaedie and Rylee are BFFs also and Landon and Logan (the 2 "L's" as we call them) are best friends too! They had fun spending the afternoon together.

A few weeks later, after school started, our ward had a playgroup at a local fire station. Landon and Logan had alot of fun! Look at their cute hats! Landon loved the firemen and was mostly in awe of them the whole tour. The Firemen were great to show all the kids and Moms their station,trucks,hoses,and gear. To finish the tour, they took us on a little ride in their Rescue Truck. The hit of the day... Landon loved it! It was great to do something with just Landon and I. He is such a cute boy and I love being able to do these things with him.

More Random Landon...

I figured since the last few posts highlighted Kaedie, Landon needed some updates :)

This boy has been all about the pool this summer! He's a dare devil and freaks his Mommy out a lot. Daddy, of course, engorges his danger side :) We had to get him his own are floats and Troy picked him up his own pair of goggles. Landon was in heaven when Troy gave them to him. We had to take a picture of him sporty them.

This Boy Loves Dinosaurs

 

Our Landon is really into anything Dinosaurs, Dragons, and Monsters! He loves to chase Kaedance around "roaring" at her and sometimes at Mommy. This picture was taken at a nearby park the morning of the first day of school. I knew this guy would be alittle lost without his sister around so I decided to turn it into a morning for him! It was nice to spend time with just him. I've forgotten how it is to have one kid around. He really missed his sister and asked where she was all day. He really loves her!

P.S. Can't tell in this picture, but he actually has the same dino on his shirt :)
