Christmas Church Outfits

This past Sunday was our Church Christmas Program. I love it with all the gorgeous Christmas music and talks on our Savior...really gets me excited for Christmas. Here are some pictures of Kaedie and Landon in their outfits for the day. They looked pretty cute. Kaedie's dress and sweater had a little sparkle. Landon's tie is my favorite. It's short with little Christmas trees and trucks on it. :) Love them.

Christmas Cookies!

I decided since I had everything on hand, we'd make Sugar Christmas Cookies after dinner last night. The kids loved it and even wore their cute aprons!

It took some time to get the dough right (I'm not a baker) but they turned out cute. Once our frosting was made (Cream Cheese...Yum!) We sat together and decorated our own cookie. Daddy joined in this year too!

It was fun, even with the mess and dishes, and I hope it creates holiday memories for our kids.

Our Tree!

We decorated our home on the 1st of the month. I really love decorating for the Holidays. I looked forward to Christmas Decor when I was a little girl and I still get excited seeing all the pretty and festive decor.

Troy put together our tree and we all hung the ornaments as a family. This year, I did all "plastic" ornaments since Landon still won't leave them alone :) So, I redecorate the tree a few times a day, but at least I don't have glass all over.

This was the year for Kaedance to place on the star. I think we'll keep the tradition of the kids switching off with the task of the star. They look forward to it!

29!

Wow! Turning 29 is a crazy thought! I spent the afternoon of my Birthday with my two of my BFFs, their girls, and my Landon, shopping and going to lunch. It was nice. Later, My hubby brought me some gorgeous pink roses. They made me smile :)

We went to dinner and watched the new Shriek movie that was released on my Bday. My kids gave me birthday kisses and I was blessed with many texts, phone calls, and Facebook comments from my family and friends. It was a nice day. One of my favorite parts...it was Sunny and 67 degrees. This is when I love living in Las Vegas!

FYI, I will be enjoying and living up this next year to it's fullest! Your 20's only last once ;) Look out 30!

Updates...

I've been a slacker the past few weeks on updates. Sorry! So to anyone out there that might still read my blog, here is a few updates.

The first part of November, a friend of mine took our family pictures. She did an amazing job and I love how they turned out. She is awesome and I'm so thankful that she did them for us!

Thanksgiving was awesome but I spaced taking any pictures :(
Sometimes the Holiday passes so fast that I forget to snap pics. Hopefully, our memories that we made will last with us. Short version of our Holiday... We ate yummy food, did some shopping, spent time with family, and was reminded how much we hate the cold and snow. It was a nice Thanksgiving and we are so Thankful for all our blessings!

The house is decorated, the kids are excited, and the presents have been wrapped. We are ready for the Jolly Old Man to come!

The last update...My 29th birthday is TODAY! Wow! I'm getting old. One more year to live it up in my 20's!! Going to try to make the most out of it :) I'll try to do an update on more of my birthday later.
