Last Couple Weeks...with Pics!

We are all moved in and I promise to post pictures soon of the new house. Still have some rooms I want to paint first. so far, we love it here and are enjoying it just trying to adjust to the North side of town. I've always lived in South Vegas. It will grow on me, I hope! Stay tuned for those pics.

Before we officially moved, we took a break from packing and moving, and took advantage of Baskin Robbins 31 cents Ice Cream and made a fun family night out. Landon had his own cone. Who doesn't love ice cream? Apparently, Troy, he did not have one that night, party pooper! :)Here are some cute pics of that night.

We have a had a few fun weekends, in this new neighborhood, we are blessed to have four parks, one of which in our community, that is a splash park. The kids love it and Kaedance expects to go every night after dinner. We've been a few times, even with our good friends, and they all have such a blast. It's fun to watch them play.

A couple Saturdays ago, we stopped by Aliante Station, just down the road, because they were having a FREE (you know I love that word :) ) Vintage Car Show. I grew up with old cars in the family and love them. True Chevy girl all the way. Anyways, Troy and I decided once Landon grows into a "big boy" bed, we want to do his room decor in Vintage Cars, so we thought it would be fun to stop and take some pictures of him and Kaedance with these awesome cars. The kids, Troy, and I, enjoyed walking around these gorgeous cars.

We plan to go home for the weekend to visit family and friends, so I will have a post on that soon, but hope everyone has a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Mother's Day 2009

First, I hope all of you Mommies had an awesome day! We totally deserve a day out of the year, that's all about us! We deserve to be recognized for all our hard work. :) Hope it was a great day and I love you all!

I had an awesome day. My awesome hubby let me stay in bed until I wanted to wake up (10:30am) he brought me breakfast in bed (brownie points for my hubby) then I enjoyed a long bath, and Kaedance help to give me a pedicure. My kids gave me both kisses and we had a great lunch along with Troy's Dad, who was in town for the day. Then, we stopped by our Vegas family to spend time with my adopted Mom, Melanie, who I love so much along with that entire family. To end the day, I took my kids over to our little splash park in our new neighborhood, to cool off from the hot day. It was fun to watch them (Pics to come). Now I wait for my present that Troy bought me, a new chair, for my new living room that comes this week!

By far, my Mommy is the best Mom ever and I'm so blessed to have her in my life. She is my rock and the person I admire most in this life. She is always layed back (not like me...total stress case) and keeps me leveled. She loves and supports me no matter what. She loves my babies and spoils them to no end. She is amazing and I love her so much. Happy Mother's Day, Mom! We Love You!
