SOLD!

Friday, we finally sold our truck. Bitter sweet because we love that truck and it represented to Troy his accomplishments in his education and career. It's been an awesome truck that we have enjoyed up until Diesel fuel was almost $5.00 a gallon! Although it's dropped in price, I think it's just a matter of time before it goes up again.

We had to drop the price just to see a response. When we did that, we had a lot of calls on it, and one guy who drove from Northern Nevada to buy it. I'm sure he will take good care of it and hopes to pass it to his son when he turns 16. The sweet part out of this deal, is that we know have some money to pay off some debt and hopefully help us buy another house in the near future. Stay tuned for that.

Thanks to everyone who kept us in your prayers and has told people about the truck!

Valentine's Day 2009

Friday, my Las Vegas Family aka Garber's, hosted a Kiddie Valentine Party. It was fun. The kids had heart shape PB&J, Mommies had a Heart Shape Pizza, they decorated yummy homemade sugar cookies( thanks, Karalee and Meagie) ,we brought the sprinkles, they passed out valentines to each other in these super cute homemade heart envelopes (thanks Seana and Erin), I read them a Valentine book, and we all enjoyed being together. It was really fun and we hope to make it a tradition every year.

For Valentine's Day, I had told my friend that we would watch her kids that night, so I had Troy take me and the kids to Cafe Rio (one of my favs) and then we went and spent some $$ on a new flat screen tv, not like we wanted too, our other has been going out and it made more since to get this one then to fix the massive old one. Good thing we get a tax refund. :) Troy also gave me a sweet card thanking me for all I do and how much he loves me! It was a great weekend.

Hope you all had a great one too!

My Grocery Smarts Class

Wednesday night I held my Grocery Smart Class about how to use this amazing website (www.grocerysmarts.com) with store ads and coupons. I have thought to be pretty good at saving and couponing, but this system is amazing and saves you a ton of $ and time!

I was so happy that my friends who attended are also super excited! I feel that one best thing about this system, is that I'm finally starting to stock my food storage! I encourage all of you to take a class( you can go to www.shopsmartinvegas.blogspot.com) to book one in Vegas and they are now in Utah. So all of you there, need to find out who teaches these classes!

It's such an awesome feeling to walk out of the grocery store spending so much less and having so much more! It can't get any better. I'm thinking of finding out more to be able to teach, so I will let you know if I do. If I don't, I love to tell all my friends and family and can show you how this system works.

My next trip, I plan to take a picture and show the breakdown of what I spent and saved, so stay tuned! :0)

Kaedance and some BFF's

Friday, we went to a Las Vegas Wranglers Hockey Game with our "adopted" family. We love them!! It was fun to go out and be with our friends. Kaedance loves to go to these games. These are some of her best friends "aka cousins". They are all July babies, born one year from each other. I love it! They are cute!

We are so blessed to be included in this awesome family and I'm so glad my kids have these kids to grow up with!

My Crazy Boy!

Landon is getting to big for his own good! Last week, I took the picture of him climbing onto the dishwasher, pulling himself up, to "help" mommy with the dishes. It was cute!

Then, yesterday, Troy and I were talking and knew Landon was following his sister around, when she said, that Landon was climbing up the stairs to get her. I was shocked to see that he had made it up one flight to the landing and was proceeding to the top! Troy loved it! He loves when the kids grow big...me, not so much! I love my baby and want him to stay a baby! It was exciting to see him do something so big. I guess walking is next.

Anderson Dairy Playgroup

We have one of the best wards and one thing that I love is a playgroup for the kids and mommies. Last Monday, we had a tour of our local dairy that's been in Vegas since 1908. It was fun to take the kids to see how the process and bottle milk and ice cream. They have a cute room where you watch a short movie about how the dairy was started, about milk, and the benefits of milk. It was neat. At the end, the gave out samples of ice cream (yummy!) it was so fresh since it was made right there!

It was a fun day! I look forward to going to more playgroup activities.
