So before this last trip home for my Grandpa's Funeral, we went up for Memorial Day weekend. It was great to see our family and friends. The weather was freezing! It was like winter and I mostly brought warm weather clothes. I guess that's Utah...always unpredictable weather.
Kaedance had a great time with her cousins, Ethan and Hunter. She also enjoyed going up to the Gateway in SLC with our friends and she was so cute playing with their little girl, Berchette.
My nephews loved Landon! They were so cute with him. They kept getting mixed up with which baby was Landon and which one was Drayson. :-) It's hard to have two new little guys around.
Speaking of Drayson, He is so super cute! I love him! Landon is like a giant next to him. He is doing great, getting bigger each day. My little brother is a great dad and Chelsie is an awesome new mommy! They make such a cute couple and great parents.
How blessed I feel that I got to spend that weekend with my Grandpa. He was such a great man! He always made you laugh. I think that is what I will miss most about him is his sense of humor and always making me smile. His funeral was great. He looked at peace. I was honored to talk at his funeral and even though it was hard, I was glad to do it. Because I was just there, I decided that the kids and I would stay the remainder of the week. I was able to go shopping, spend time with two of my BFF's, Maegan and Chante, spend time with my family and new nephew, see old friends and enjoy being home. Kaedance had a blast. One Saturday, she told me that she wanted to spend a couple more months in Utah. I had to explain to her that Daddy really missed us and that she need to go back to prepare for her ballet recital. I'm glad that she felt that way and really bonded with my family. Although I miss Utah and so many of my loved ones there, it's nice to be back home back to real life.
I'm super excited for next weekend. My parents, little bro, Sis in Law, and Drayson will be here. I'm taking my Mom and Chels to Tim McGraw on Saturday! We are all so excited for that. On Sunday, we are having Landon's blessing and will hopefully have a lot of family and friends come to that. So look for postings on that soon!

It was so fun to see you while you were here. I really thought it was sad that that is the most time we've spent together in so long. But it's great to have you as a friend because things are 'normal' no matter how far apart we live. But I'm sad you're gone! We needed more time to chit chat!
I'm glad that you were able to have a nice trip home. I'm also glad that you got to spend the weekend with your grandfather. I'm impressed that you spoke at his funeral...that would be so hard for me, I think.
Cute pictures. Your family is adorable!
