Some New Year's Fun

I hope everyone is enjoying 2010 so far!

Troy was off the week between Christmas and New Year's. I wish I could say we went on a trip or even that we did fabulous things with his time off, but we mostly hung out at home, made brownies (see pics of Landon), Troy did a great job entertaining the kids and I cleaned and organized our house for the New Year!

We did, however, spent sometime down on the Strip (not my fav place since I live here) and went to see the Bellagio Gardens. This is one of my favorite hotels and I love going there to see their Christmas display. It didn't disappoint this year. The kids loved it! We then decided to go to Caesar's Palace. Troy really wanted to take Landon to the FAO Schwartz toy store there. Fun to walk around, way to pricey to buy. Again, the kids had fun. I stopped by the GAP and scored the kids some great things for next winter marked down 60%. The GAP there is awesome and I've always seemed to get lucky there. We finished the afternoon with the Fish Tank (Landon's favorite) and lunch at Cheesecake factory. Yummy!

We spent New Year's night celebrating a dear friend's "golden" birthday. Good times! We then went home, put the kids to bed, and I was the only one up to welcome 2010. One awesome part of our home, we have an amazing few of the strip (from a far distance) and I watched the awesome fireworks show that cost $500k to pull off. They were pretty cool.

We had a great New Year and I'm so glad it's 2010 and looking forward to it being a great one!!
