Tons of pictures...click to zoom larger :)
We left Thursday afternoon and spent Friday and Saturday at the parks. The weather was cloudy, kinda rainy, but not that cold. Light jackets and no sunscreen was awesome! The crowds weren't bad on Friday but were horrible Saturday (Thank goodness for early morning entry). We still had a great time and made the most out of each day. Here our a few of the highlights and best parts of our trip!
* Landon loved it and was so awesome seeing his excitement!
* Our Hotel was super nice!
* Our kids sleeping so good in the Hotel.
* Kaedance went on alot more rides then her first trip at 2 1/2 years old :)
* My second trip there ever...and I soaked it all in!
* Doing the Princess Lunch at Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure was so worth the money and the food was yummy! Seeing both our kids reaction to all the princesses was awesome especially Landon asking Snow White "where her "Hi Ho's" were at?" and the response she gave him...He ate it up! We'd recommend doing it. Next trip we want to do Character Breakfast.
* The Fireworks show was the best I'd ever seen. We watched it out in front of It's a Small World, where they display pictures and graphics on the front of the castle to go along with the fireworks. So cool!
* Getting Landon his first ears hat with his nickname on back...Lando :)
* Kaedance being scared of going on It's a Small World ride Friday morning...now it's her #1 favorite!
* My kids loving the "surprise" gifts from Tinkerbell and Mommy & Daddy only buying 2 souvenirs each in the park :)
* Landon going on Matterhorn with his Daddy. His first ride at the park and loved it!
* Getting Fast Passes to ride Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion.
* Landon and I riding the Haunted Mansion (themed Nightmare before Christmas) and it's Landon's #1 favorite ride :)
* Landon is now obsessed with Jack the pumpkin King!
* Kaedance and her Best Friends aka "cousins" in their new Princess gowns and the "ahhs..." coming out of the bathroom from the crowd :)
* Landon was the conductor on the train...he loved saying "All a Board!" on the loud speaker.
* The corn dogs from Main Street were awesome and I'm not a hot dog fan usually.
* Warm Churros!
* Kaedance wanting to buy her BFF a charm of their favorite princesses to go on their new charm bracelets to remember their trip.
* Waiting to ride the new Toy Story ride was so worth the line :) Landon was super excited about that one!
* My favorite ride...Space Mountain! It was a mini, double date, with our BFFs :)
* Spending time with our best friends and family! We love the Garbers!!
* Deciding that surprise trips for our kids are actually a good thing :)
* My kids getting along and obeying us for the most part ;)
* Landon getting his "1st visit" pin.
* Celebrating our Papa's retirement for steel work! Congrats Papa Randy! :)
* Getting pictures with characters and their autographs.
* Pressed pennies make cheap souvenirs that my kids love!
* Packing our own snacks and drinks!
* Landon asking as soon as he woke, "I wanna go to Dineyland today!"
* Landon being in awe of Rosetta in Pixie Hollow. He has a huge crush now!
* Riding on Tower of Terror this time with my Hubby!
* Seeing the park all done up in Halloween Decor. So cool!
* Kaedance and Landon both picking baby Jesse and baby Woody dolls as their "big" gift.
* Landon getting a foam sword so he could "kill the Jabbawonky!" He is obsessed with the Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland! Weird...I know.
* Riding Thunder Mountain with my BFF, Meagan and California Screamin with another BF, Seana. I heart those girls!
* Ending the trip out with breakfast at Mimi's Cafe and a short stop to IKEA!
Along with all the "Best" parts...I could make a list of some negatives or things to do for our next trip but I'll skip that because for the most part, it was a blast!
We loved every bit of our trip and although we could have saved the money for a "rainy day", we are so glad we went and have amazing memories to share with our kids and family!
