Life with two....

So life has officially and forever changed now that Landon is here. Kaedance is finally adjusting to him and loves to talk to him. She is starting to interact with him more and I hope to get a picture of them together soon. It's just a matter of convincing her of it. I think the adjustment from one to two has been a little challenging. I'm glad I waited till Kaedance was a little older and can help me put with things. She is able to grasp that Landon requires a little more attention and she is great with that. I really try to make time each day for her and do what she wants to do. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day and an extra set of hands for us mommies. For the most part, having two is awesome! Landon is a great baby. He sleeps good, eats good, and loves for me to hold him.
I went out yesterday with my sister-in-law, for some much needed escape, and when I returned home, Kaedance was so excited to see me and even Landon, when he heard my voice, wanted his mommy! How sweet is that! I feel so lucky to have spent the last almost 3 years with Kaedance at home. Seeing her grow and mature, now I get that with my little man!
Troy is awesome! He works so hard to provide the best life for us. He loves that I'm at home with the kids and is so great to let me nap when he gets home. He is enjoying the two of them so much. The bond that Kaedie has with him is so sweet. There is nothing like a Daddy's girl, coming from one!

I'm glad Kaedance is finally starting to warm up to him! It's gotta be a little hard/weird for an only child to have some little baby around...
I love the new pic of her on the side!

It took Eli a while too. But when he was ready he couldn't get enough of him, then of corse now that Ryder can take ELI's toys and go in ELI's ROOM. He just wants to beat him up:) hehehe It will be easier for you when Landon doesn't need as much of your time. Having children really is a WONDERFUL thing!!!

Good to see Kadie is coming around. Just wait until he gets big enough to play with her. She's going to love bossing him around!

I remember thinking that going from 1 to 2 was way harder than I thought that it would be. It sounds like you are doing great, though! Isn't it fun to watch kids interact with each other? My greatest hope is that my kids will be friends with each other.

I'm glad that you were able to get away for a couple of hours! Every mom needs that once in a while!
