Landon is in Love!

That's right...he's in love with his bottles of milk! He is 16 months and shows no signs of giving his bottle up. He loves his milk and sometimes I feel that's his best source of nutrition since he's not the best table food eater. My goal is to ween him off starting at 18 months. Kaedance was not hard to break for her bottle or binky. Luckily, Landon never took to a binky...he's just obsessed with his bottle.

Part of me does not want him to give it up because that to me, officially makes him a "big boy" and not my baby. I know, I'm a sucker for that boy :)
P.S. That's his "milk drunk" face. He has a problem :)

We didn't have any problems with the bottles... 1 year and they were done with them, had no problem giving them up. But the pacifier on the other hand was a lot harder. Brichette was almost 4 and Xander was 2. We told them that since they were potty trained, they were big now and needed to give them up... they are for babies. A couple restless nights, but then they forgot about them.

Have you tried the sippies with the soft nipples on them???

I don't know if you're asking for suggestions, but if you are, I don't really have any. Sorry. Katelyn was all about her sippy cup from day 1. I guess just do it cold turkey and be done with it. That's what we did with the cup. She didn't even care.

Brecken is two and a half and I took her bottle away cold turkey only 6 weeks ago. It made me so sad to take it from her because it was her comfort...plus I dreaded how night time would be. But I got so sick of the stupid things that I told her the doctor came and took them. So for the first two weeks she would pretend to call the doctor and get so mad and say bring them back...but now she is fine. It really only took a couple of nights for her to be ok without a bottle. Now she eats SO SO SO well. Good Luck!

SO cute!! We miss you and your cute kiddos!

I love love love your new house!! You're doing a great job with all the painting and decorating! You've probably done more in the couple months you've been there than I have in the 4 years in my house! Seriously!! You're amazing!! I can't wait to see it in person!! Let's play soon!

Lexi still has a bottle too!!! She however barely drinks any milk or eats anything. I actually give her a pediasure a day(it takes her all day to drink it). She refuses milk out of anything else. I don't really think it's a big deal especially if they don't really eat table foods. My pediatrician was very adament about her losing it, until we went into her 18 month appt and she had dropped to the 17th percentile!!! Now he's fine with it.
I wish our kiddos could hang out more too, lexi could be his great love ;-).
